Medical Fund

Throughout the years on our trips overseas, we have encountered many people suffering from diseases, deformities, or other medical ailments. Unfortunately, even though many times there are medications or medical procedures that could help them, they are often unable to afford any kind of treatment and are left to suffer through the pain. When we come into contact with these situations, we feel it is an amazing blessing to them if we can do something to help. In response to this, we have established the Vision Beyond Borders Medical Fund for such occasions. Money from this fund is kept in reserve until a need is encountered, at which point the money can be withdrawn after prayerful consideration and be used to help the person(s) in need.

We have had the opportunity already to help several people in need. While in Burma last year, we encountered a young boy crippled with a club foot. We were able to raise support for him to have surgery and he is now able to walk normally. In Bhutan, a nine year old girl we met had damaged one of her eyes causing it to fall out of the socket often and preventing her from being able to read. Money was raised for her to have an operation and receive treatment, replacing the damaged eye with a glass one and enabling her to attend a private school to catch up in her studies.

We see this as a unique opportunity for people to witness firsthand the love and mercy of Christ through the gift, as well as receive relief from their infirmities. With your help, we hope to be a part of many more success stories such as these in the future.
